WHO I AM: I am a 60-something wife, and mother of a grown up daughter; Pagan; Piscean; Cat and hen mum.

WHAT DO I DO: Not a lot! I'm one of those ladies of leisure. I have worked in the past, as a clerk in a spectacles factory, and as copy typist for a local newspaper. The latter one was my favourite job, every day was different and one never knew who was going to walk into the reporters' room to be interviewed. These days I write a lot of letters, build a lot of websites and make websets. Not for profit, but for fun.

MY INTERNET PAST: My first computer was a glorified word processor. But it was rented so we were able to upgrade to one that was connected to the internt, albeit via dial up. Remember dial up and that dreadful noise when you were connecting? I experimented with building a website and like so many others, I landed on Geocities. In 1999 my sister bought me my first domain Serennau, and I have kept it going ever since.

I build strictly Web 1 sites. None of the are "responsive", none of them use AI text, and none of them are built with "site builders" and templates. They are old-fashioned, creative, and I hope, interesting.
